The Red Obelisk Beech (Fagus sylvatica ‘Red Obelisk’) is a stunning, slow-growing beech tree known for its narrow, columnar shape and striking burgundy-red foliage. Unlike other beech varieties, this cultivar maintains its rich color throughout the growing season, transitioning to coppery-bronze tones in fall before its leaves drop for winter.
Reaching 30-40 feet tall but only 5-10 feet wide, it is ideal for small yards, tight planting spaces, or as an architectural focal point.
